With the support of its volunteers, Mornington Tourist Railway operates four standard excursion train rides along the original Mornington branch line every Sunday of the month.

Our excursion train rides include K Class steam locomotive, heritage diesel locomotives, lovingly restored heritage carriages and rolling stock – some more than 100 years old.

Online bookings are preferred for all excursion train rides although a very small number of tickets are available at the railway booking office to accommodate any walk-up customers on the day.
Online bookings close 30 minutes before each departure from Moorooduc Station.

Mornington Tourist Railway complies with Victorian Department of Health regulations.
Wheelchair access is available with manual chairs recommended due to the narrow width of the carriages.
